Inside the Mind of Michael Burry

By on March 25, 2010

Street Capitalist has posted a long article highlighting the thoughts of Michael Burry, formerly of Scion Capital. Burry has received lots of media attention lately for his exposure in Michael Lewis’ new book The Big Short. Burry is said to suffer from Asperger’s Syndrome, an extreme aversion to social situations, and began analyzing value stocks and publishing his thoughts in relative obscurity via a blog.

One of Burry’s many writings highlighted in the article:

“The late nineties almost forced me to identify myself as a value investor, because I thought what everybody else was doing was insane.”
