This Recession Will End Someday

By on March 2, 2009

The New York Times asked 11 op-ed contributors when they believed the recession would end. The experts included James Grant of Grant’s Interest Rate Observer, Stephen Roach, A. Michael Spence, William Poole, Eric Schmidt of Google, George Cooper, Niall Ferguson, Alan Blinder, Marcell Chauvet and Kevin Hassett, Carmen Reinhart, and Nouriel Roubini.

Each has written a short and succinct essay that basically and eloquently says that they don’t know. Some still take a guess.
