Stocks Trading Above 200 Day Moving Average at an Extreme

The Quantifiable Edges blog reports the percentage of stocks trading above their 200 day moving average is near an all-time high. This is from data going back to 1986.

The implications are that the market is overbought, but not necessarily due to plunge. The pace of advance should slow significantly from here however.
