Stock’s Dividend Yield Versus 10 Year Treasuries
Bespoke Investment Group has presented an interesting long-term chart on the relationship between the dividend yield on the stocks in the DJIA and the yield of 10-year Treasury Notes. The yield on stocks was higher than 10 year bonds at the market’s low nine months ago; which hadn’t occurred in nearly 50 years. It’s closer to a normal relationship now, although the chart shows there can be a wide disparity that lasts for years.
