Speculation as to When Earnings Will Recover

There has been quite a bit written about how bad earnings have been and how estimates have been slashed. Henry Blodgett writes about the view held by John Mauldin and others that an earnings recovery reaching the previous peak could take years, if not decades. The leverage in the system undergoing forced reduction is the primary reason.
