Simmons, "Don’t be surprised if oil goes to $200"

On July 31, 2008, Matt Simmons, Simmons and Co. Int’l, was on CNBC and said that oil would likely reach the recent highs of $147 before the end of the year and he added that we shouldn’t be surprised if it eventually trades at $200. Simmons is a proponent of the “Peak Oil Theory.”

    I think we are going to see a huge rebound in the price of both oil and natural gas. Our site interviews some of the best in the busniness. Jim Rogers, Peter Schiff, Price Headley, Ryan Krueger and many more.

    They all seem to think that we are still in an energy uptrend.
