Robert Shiller’s Grim View on Housing

Robert Shiller, Yale professor, remains pessimistic about the future for housing prices and indicated that it wouldn’t be a stretch for home prices to decline more than they did during the Great Depression.

Shiller has a vested interest in establishing prediction markets for home prices, so he is not an unbiased source, but he has a track record of being right in predicting the direction of markets in general.
