Robert Shiller: Never Know When Stock Bubble Will Burst
Saying, “we have been in an up market since 2009 and its been quite dramatic…those things have certainly generated stories that are optimistic, and has more and more people regretting that they didn’t get in in 2009 as late comers to the market, so yes it does have aspects of a bubble to it,” Robert Shiller responded to CNBC’s Jackie DeAngelis when asked about the current stock market environment.
Shiller stated, “I think it’s highly priced and this reminds me of 1996 when I testified before the board of Governors and people faulted me for calling it a bubble because it lasted for another 3 1/2 years.”
“You never know when its going to come to an end,” Shiller concluded.
