Predictions & Results – Fred Hickey, Jim Rogers, Bob Froehlich, etc.
Click on spreadsheet for larger image:
The results are in from a round of predictions made last year. John “Bradshaw” Layfield should probably stick to wrestling after the call he made on housing stocks in May of last year. The homebuilders have dropped 27% since then, while the market is up 18%. Jim Rogers on the same day, made the opposite call on housing so he was proven correct as he should be given his vast experience in the markets. Gary B. Smith was very close to the mark on the Dow’s direction in May 2006. Fred Hickey was expecting a market crash following a prediction in September 2006. It may crash yet, but from substantially higher levels. Bob Froehlich was bullish in the same month, which was the right call at the right time.
