Marc Faber Says China’s Economy is Only Growing at Two Percent

By on July 31, 2009

Marc Faber is joining the chorus of China skeptics in his view that the actual growth of the economy is only a fraction of what the government claims. Faber has also recently stated, “there’s this incredibly bullish sentiment when insiders are actually selling and the technical picture of the market doesn’t look that great.”

SMA Comment: There seems to be a lot of hope in the mainstream media that China’s growing economy will help pull the developed world out of their funk. This is probably wishful thinking as China’s economic numbers appear to be largely a fantasy.
