Julian Robertson, "We are totally dependent on the Chinese and Japanese"
“Investment Legend” Julian Robertson was interviewed by CNBC’s Erin Burnett and indicated he was worried about the situation the U. S. has gotten itself into with regard to debt and overconsumption. He said it would almost be Armageddon if the Chinese and Japanese stopped buying our debt. The only way, in his view, to get out of this “terrible situation” was to grow and save our way out. Robertson said he was concerned inflation could get out of control and interest rates could skyrocket to 15 to 20 percent.
