Joseph Stiglitz: Burst Credit Bubble Risks Economic Malaise

Economist Joseph Stiglitz says the U. S. economy is likely to experience false starts on the road to recovery and end up like Japan in the 1990’s or the world in the 1930’s.

Stiglitz has criticized the stimulus, in that it’s not enough and hasn’t been targeted effectively.
