Jim Rogers Bad Mouths Diversification

Jim Rogers, world-renowned investor, has recently proclaimed it is a mistake to diversify amongst asset classes. This might be the case if you knew for certain which assets were going to outperform. In the real world his comments don’t make much sense, because few can foretell the future with enough accuracy to make this practical.

I’m not sure what Rogers’ motive is, since it would seem he would know better with all the experience he has gained over the years. The only thing he can accomplish with such wrongheaded commentary is lead investors astray.
