Harry Dent: Stock Market to Begin Collapsing Within 3 Months

By on October 20, 2016

harry Dent tampaEconomist and author Harry Dent spoke to FOX Business Network’s Stuart Varney this week and predicted a stock market collapse was imminent (starting within 3 months).

“I can’t tell when a bubble is going to burst, when a grain of sand is going to cause an avalanche. But what I can tell you is when the trends are down, and they’re down very strongly over the next three years,” Dent stated.

Dent pinned the coming collapse on a bubble in Chinese real estate, along with global banking issues from giants like Deutsche Bank (DB) “flaming out” and “18% non-performing loans at Italian banks.”

Two and a half years ago Dent predicted the Dow would drop to 6,000 by 2016 [link].

This might be correct. The state of the U.S. economy doesn’t look that good – the unemployment rate is down, wages are stagnant, the rate is personal debt is high and on top of that, 2016 is an election year.
