Fear Causes Investor Mistakes

Janice Revell, senior writer at Money Magazine, has written a lengthy expose’ on investor greed and fear. According to Revell, Warren Buffett has referred to these two enemies of investors as “super-contagious diseases.”

Revell also reveals the stunning statistic that investors withdrew $120 billion from stock funds in the two months following the financial crisis, which is as much as they invested in stock funds in all of 2007 and 2008.

Revell provides advice on how investors can cope with their dangerous emotions.
