Economists and the Odds of a Depression

Several economics professors including Erik Hurst, University of Chicago, Kenneth Rogof, Harvard University, and James Galbraith, University of Texas, express their views on the chance of an economic depression in this article –> (hint: they agree that the odds are practically nil).

Gary Shilling predicts that home values, which already are down 18 percent from their high in the second quarter of 2005, will drop another 18-19 percent by 2010.
