BP CFO Forecasts Tremendous Growth in Energy Demand

Brian GilvaryBP Chief Financial Officer Brian Gilvary was interviewed on CNBC recently after BP reported solid financial results.

The key takeaway from the Gilvary interview was that 85% of all energy is currently derived from oil, gas and coal. World population is expected to grow by 2 billion in the next 20 years which will increase energy demand by 30% requiring substantial investment in energy production, both alternative and conventional.
