An Optimistic View of the Future

Larry Haverkamp, “Dr. Money,” in a recent article in Asia One Business expects a favorable outcome after the recent financial crisis. He believes we are going into recession but governments will print money and embark on large spending projects to lessen it’s impact. Mr. Haverkamp also believes that a recession will reduce demand for commodities, making them more affordable, setting the stage for the inevitable recovery.

In the article, Mr. Haverkamp takes a dim view of Marc Faber’s forecasting abilities and penchant for gold.
